Performance
ZolenZooi
ZolenZooi is a poetic and humorous performance full of circus and dance. It is also the first +4 performance that TeaTime ever made. Therefore we are able to bring our performances also to the little ones.
In this winter setting, see how two acrobats investigate their differences and discover what it means to want to have, possess, need, or need someone. Because “want to have” and “need” is therefore not yet the same. Even if it’s something simple, like… a shoe
Enjoy their journey towards warmth, joy and friendship in this enjoyable performance without any spoken words.
Walking in someone else’s shoes
The performance unfolds like a real game of cat and mouse. The two acrobats attract and repel each other, each inventing clever ways to escape. When one seems to have the other firmly in hand, the other wriggles away with ease, slipping playfully through the smallest gaps.
Through partner acrobatics, Chinese pole techniques, and a generous dose of humor, they climb over, under, and around each other until suddenly, out of nowhere, a mountain of shoes appears on stage. Then begins the juggling, balancing, and stumbling, with one clear goal: to claim the shoes.
But how far would you go to get something you want so badly? Where is the limit? And what happens if you cross it?
In the end, we discover in playful, funny, and sometimes painful ways the moral of the story: sharing and playing together.
He wants it so much. Really love to.
He can’t go without it. It’s that simple.
Or not?
But she has it, and he doesn’t? That feels unfair.
Right?
If she has it, then he can have it too? Then he can take it. Because fair is fair.
Right?
Or…
What if you “want to have” but that hurts the other person?Do you still want that?
And what if the roles were reversed?
What if we’re walking in someone else’s shoes?
